  • Sopot Apartments is a specialist residential letting agent. We manage and market Sopot, Gdansk and Gdynia homes on behalf of property providers who make a special effort to offer quality accommodation with attractive furniture and décor. We carefully select the homes we promote and build a long term working relationship with trustworthy property providers.

  • Where are the homes?

  • The majority of our clients who need a short term rental want to be based in Sopot. All of the homes that we offer are in popular Sopot locations. If you are here for a short stay you don't want to waste time travelling great distances for a bottle of milk or to hop on a tube. That is why we insist that all of the homes we offer are a quick walk to essential facilities – shops, train station or bus stops. Some of options available are based in Gdansk or in Gdynia which are also our guests destinations.

  • What type of homes do you offer?

  • A character private residence or a sleek serviced apartment – which is yours? At Sopot Apartments you can choose because we offer the full range from quirky, boho and bijoux, to cool, calm and contemporary. All homes are well furnished and fully equipped including Internet access. Style and standard may vary but you are assured that all accommodation will have the essentials for modern life, i.e. a stove, fridge/freezer, iron, ironing board, hair-dryer and of course, Internet access. Our clients are as diverse as the whole Tri Citi area – “Trojmiasto” ( this is how Sopot, Gdansk and Gdynia are called all together) and we reflect that in our short term rentals.

  • How long can I rent for?

  • Stay for as long as you like! If you need to be here for three days or three months we can offer you a comfortable home. The minimum rental period is displayed on each property. Self-catering homes generally prefer a one-week minimum - seven nights - but may occasionally accept a booking for a shorter period if there is a gap to fill. There is no maximum term and many of the properties are available for periods in excess of six months.

  • How much does it cost?

  • Our short term lets are offered at attractive rates, competitively priced for the market. Rental rates change depending on the time of year, the number of people staying at the flat and the length of stay. The rate for your stay can easily be calculated on the property details. Put in your dates and number of people and the total for your stay will display.

  • What is included in the rate?

  • Utilities and property expenses such us gas, electricity, water, TV licence and council tax are all included in the short term rents, holiday rentals and corporate housing below 1 month.

    Self-catering accommodation will be professionally cleaned before you arrive and thereafter it is the responsibility of the occupant to leave the property in the same condition on departure. Exit-cleaning charges are included in the rent, provided that the property is left neat and tidy when you depart. Starter toiletries and consumables such as soap, toilet paper and cleaning products are provided for your arrival and thereafter you would provide your own.

    Wifi is included in the rate. Extra cleaning is charged separately. VAT is not included in rent. Where VAT applies it is charged at 8%. Please read the Small Print on the property details to check if VAT applies to your home.

  • How many people can stay?

  • The number of people permitted to stay in the property will vary - please check the property description for exact details. After you make your booking, only the people listed on the booking agreement are entitled to stay at the property. Many of our clients offer several flats in one building so if you are a large group you may find it convenient to reserve the entire building.

  • Can I view the flat?

  • Viewings can usually be arranged when the flat is being prepared - i.e. between lets - which avoids disturbing the current occupant. If you have requested a viewing please keep in mind that the property cannot be held for you until you visit. Short let rentals are promoted worldwide, booked on line and availability changes frequently. 80% of our clients book from abroad and do not view homes before they rent. We endeavor to provide comprehensive information on the website so that "what you see is what you get". This includes a thorough property description including locale, an accurate Google map, a complete portfolio of current photographs, plus the very important "Small Print" section. We want you to understand the nitty, gritty, practical side of renting an apartment so that you can feel confident to stay with us.

  • Do I pay a security deposit?

  • Yes, all property providers request a damage deposit in cash. The funds may be used to replace damaged items, or for remedial cleaning, if required.

  • How do I book a property?

  • Simple and straight forward. Calculate the total rate for your stay and then follow the red 'Book Now' button or simply choose the RESERVATION tag and fill the form. Complete the booking form and you will be directed to a secure payment gateway, hosted by Paypal in order to make the payment required to reserve the property. You can also transfer the money by normal bank wire if you request for this option of payment. Normally we charge 30% of the payment while booking. You can also transfer total amount of money for rental or bring remaining part in cash and pay on arrival.

  • How do I cancel?

  • If you wish to cancel your reservation please e-mail us. Any monies due to you will be refunded less charges incurred processing your booking and refund. The pre-payment amount paid to confirm your booking is not refundable. Should you cancel six weeks or less before the start of your stay the owner will be entitled to retain 100% of the fee paid. Individual property owners may request a variation to this policy, in which case you will be informed at the time of booking. We urge you to obtain travel insurance which will protect you against your costs incurred.

  • What happens when I arrive?

  • The owner or a representative will make arrangements for your arrival. Check in/out times vary – please consult individual property details. Some property providers make a small surcharge to meet outside of office hours, on weekends and on public holidays. Other providers suggest a cab company for transfer and delivery of keys. During your stay you will have the contact details of the property manager should you have any maintenance problems.

    Many of our clients return to Sopot regularly and it is our pleasure to welcome them back. Some will always stay at the same home, others move to different areas to explore new and exciting places. Either way, we really appreciate that they return to Sopot Apartments on each visit and we would be delighted to welcome you too.
